Ontopic Health Thread: post your AIDS, diseases and infekshunz here.

you know that got murdered by a republican congress.... you have to. Its a shadow of what it should have been, but some good still came out of it. The biggest good being the pre-existing conditions clause. The healthcare marketplaces are the poorest implemented aspect of it
Passed by a democratic house, democratic senate, signed into law by a democrat president... blame the other party for it being a turd in a punch bowl. :wtf:Yes it's great preexisting conditions are covered. Too bad so many people can't afford that benefit.

My health plan is a combination of home DIY doctoring and going to Mexico with a fistfull of dollars.

End of life care involves getting eaten by a grizzly bear.

Thanks Obama!

There were tons of concessions made by the Democrats, because they needed Republican votes. They literally couldn't push it through without them. With all the people who tie Democrat to Socialism, you can't be suggesting that they alone crafted a cheap, shitty plan.

Naw. I spend years obsessing over a cab driver. I chase him around the internet, constantly bring him up in posts that have nothing do with him, even in private threads that he's not involved in. That, Tom Brady, and The Huffington post gets me worked up.

Zero, but you know that.

The whole thing was a giant fucked up attempt at bipartisanship that the republicans exploited purely to damage the process, knowing full well they would provide zero votes in the end, but dangling the carrot of providing some until the very end, and getting their cuts because of it.

So the Republicans completely fucked up the process, put together an awful bill that everyone thought was awful, yet the democrats in the house and senate still voted for it even though it was a horrible piece of legislation and the president happily signed the awful legislation into law and to this day says he's proud that people call this piece of shit Obamacare. Got it.
