i folded laundry in bed like a good housekeeper then last night kiko and i walked outside. i made it about 5 houses down and we turned around and came home and i was DONE.

but the fact that i even got to do that is a huge accomplishment.
allllll the swelling in my legs and feet have gone down so no more cankles!
i just take forever to do things

so lupus consists of “flare ups”
they come and go whenever they fkn feel like.
so i’m currently in a flare up that can last weeks, months.

im on the trump meds (hydroxychloroquine) but it’s takes forever for them to kick in really.

so to answer your question, yes it will get better but i don’t know when the next flare up will happen. i have to learn to listen to my body cuz apparently there are tons of signs.

i guess mine were when my hands were swelling and i couldn’t move them

i’m sure i’ll get the hang of it and my rheumatologist will adjust meds as we go along.

this could be 100x worse

I’ve always had some issues with dandruff which was easily controlled with any brand of dandruff shampoo but now that I’m only showering maybe twice weekly, I have some chronic eyebrow dandruff. I comb my face while ODing on albuterol during my ten minute wake up session and when I combed my eyebrows this morning, it was of snow was falling.

I’m fuckin gross and getting grosser daily. I managed to vacuum for awhile on Sunday and that was the high point of my week. House is gross also. I’d be a little more at ease if my son’s salary stayed at Covid levels permanently.

Most people with relapsing/remitting MS have a normal lifespan and can reduce attacks through healthy lifestyle and later, as things progress, medication. She's not cured, she's in remission.

And there is no cure for migraine disease either. It's a complex neurological disease that one billion people have. It can't be cured with food or lack there-of.
