Indeed. I'm on my second receiver, but the speakers are still fantastic. And the only reason I upgraded the receiver was to get one that does format upconversion.

137 more for me, can't go fast enough...
I love having an awesome interest rate.
oooh, can I ask what you got? I'm at 5.5%, which isn't bad, but I wish I could have gotten one of those nice 4.7s or a even a little lower.
My mortgage company has a plan though I'm thinking of taking advantage of. Switching to paying bi-weekly as opposed to once a month. Works out to 2 extra payments over a monthly, and those 2 extra go straight to the principle and don't get any interest chipped out. Will net me a little over 9 years less on the mortgage, and about 50k less in interest over the term of the loan, for a little more out of pocket yearly. I'm seriously thinking of doing this up.

or a mortgage
'Thank you for calling Mr. Lenz. I see you have 360 payments left, what can I help you with today?'
Well, 359 now...
Pay one every day and you'll own your house in a year.
Just FYI, it's costs like 400 bucks to do this, and you have basically have to come up with an extra month's mortgage to get it set up right, so what I recommend is just working out that extra payment every year yourself, save yourself some money.
Variable rate, Prime -0.9%
Current rate is 1.35%
I'm on bi-weekly, and often double-up payments on top of that.
1.35%
jesus. Although I did go with a 30 year fixed, since variable rates are along the lines of the ARM stuff that got so many people in trouble here to begin with.
still
1.35%

hmm, I didn't see anything about the $400, but I haven't gone completely through the docs yet. As for the extra month, that's not too bad, considering it doesn't include any of the escrow stuff, and my mortgage itself is less than I've paid in rent going back 6 years now.
But you are probably right. Since I have the option to just apply extra to the principle anyway, may as well just do it on my own.

Paging Theac....
Yea, they didn't tell us that either till I called to get more info on it and they told me about that as the set up fee.
