Hey sysfgts, why is it necessary to have a pop up telling me my password will expire in 14 days? 14 fucking days? Does it really take people that long to come up with a new password? Seriously.

The main problem is that there's a warning of any sort. I say just surprise people with the fact that they need to change their password.
This is just one of many examples of how choice just makes life complicated.
That wouldnt bother me any, but Im sure a lot more people would end up locked out of their machines
No, see, that happens anyway. I don't think it would actually cause any of the machine slaves, like myself, any additional grief.
Not being in IT I have no idea how many people forget their passwords, especially since I typically remember mine.
