Happy birthday Shalimar

Im not entirely sure that 42inches of Hi-Def porn is a good thing.
All the wrinkles, zits, and ingrown hairs will be right there in your face.

Plus - two words - twigs N berries.

Yeah.

aw, you called me a bud. lol

that's an 11 page thread. i read a page or two. . fuc, they talkin about a buncha shyt I know nothing of.

we've got surround sound to hook up to it, which I think runs thru the DVD player.
the cable box.
and I recently picked up a 100 disc CD changer. can I run that into the audio somewhere with RCA's?

i think that's it. some of the specs say you can look at digital photos. that'd be cool.

pretty stoked all in all I guess. if only I had a cigarette.

'scuse me, a 42 page thread.. jeeeeeezus. mostly gibberish to me and stuff like:

"Before you step up to the plate to challenge Sony please present your credentials to question it based upon facts not conjecture. You do realize that every broadcast HD Master for Prime Time and Film has folded within it a PERFECT 1080/24P and you sure as hell do not need 120 Hz to receive and enjoy it's benefits.

I suggest you read the five part series by the "EXPERTS" that contribute in the VP threads on this forum. "Importance of 1080P" your statements are based upon amateur old and dated gossip not the technology.

Please do offer up your credentials to question the statements made and support it with Evidence rather than opinion there is a gossip section and this is not it"

good god man. is it that serious?

I'm guessing you have a reciever? If so, all of your audio and video should output into that.

If your equipment has it, use either digital coax or fiber to connect your CD/DVD/etc to the reciever. Cable as well. I know the brighthouse cable boxes do Digital Coax.

It's up to you if you want the TV doing sound. I hate how pretty much any TV speaker sounds, so I just use it as a monitor, and run all the sound through my reciever. Even shitty television shows should at least sound good.

Run a single output from your tv out to the tv in on your new tv. Depends again on the outputs/inputs.

In a nutshell, thats the jist of it.
