Life is made better by losing our expectations of what we think life supposed to be like... Lose the "keeping up with the Jones'" mentality, the competition with others, and just grow/learn/accept the present.
Hard to do, but works.
Learned that in yoga class. That shit is awesome for mental health.
Life is much better since I lowered my expectations to the ground and gave up the illusion of "hope".
Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
