You can make it waaaay prettier than any OS you've ever seen. But its still much better as a server OS imho.

As a server OS, the Unix platform is brilliant for it's lost cost of resources. But for what Linux was intended, it's just not evolved enough. Mac OS is probably the best version of Linux I've ever seen as far as user friendliness.
