Yes. I hooked up the WD media player to my tv on Monday and watched a couple episodes of Tekzilla. I also streamed a few movies for a couple of minutes off my main computer to test out playback. Hackers 720p rip looked and sounded sweet.

I need to get a large harddrive for the Synology NAS and I'm good to go.
