A gas station owner in Quincy, MA gave up last week - got tired of customers bitching and closed up shop and retired

GA Govenor is suppose to sign a thing today to prevent price gouging where they can only charge a certain max amount over the price they pay to buy the gas. It was caused by some gas stations way over infalting the prices becuase they knew there was a demand.

Some people in Hilton Head SC were charging 5.00 to 5.50 for gas becuase you have to go along way to the next stations.

I think people that take advantage of tragedy like that should face sever fines.

It did in a couple of places. I dont't think there should be fines tho. I just wouldnt buy gas there, loss of business is punishment enough for them.

Yeah, but if you're on 'E' and there's no other option in sight, you're gonna buy gas

yeah, about half a gallon so i can make it to the next decent station.

i wonder if many will slow down on the road to keep gas longer?

You have to achieve the best gph, not necessarily the best mpg

I floor it to 120-ish and then coast up hills....

With tire chains and that low center of gravity, it'd be unstoppable.

May want to add a second motor in there, particularly if you add the cattle bar

Gas was $2.51 at the station close to work on Tuesday evening, It was $2.69 last night. We usually have the highest gas in the country, though. Of course, most of you are from the east coast, and this is the cheapest gas station in the city (or close to it).
