A gas station owner in Quincy, MA gave up last week - got tired of customers bitching and closed up shop and retired
Are you serious? $5 to $5.50???b_sinning said:GA Govenor is suppose to sign a thing today to prevent price gouging where they can only charge a certain max amount over the price they pay to buy the gas. It was caused by some gas stations way over infalting the prices becuase they knew there was a demand.
Some people in Hilton Head SC were charging 5.00 to 5.50 for gas becuase you have to go along way to the next stations.

b_sinning said:I think people that take advantage of tragedy like that should face sever fines.
Didn't some of that happen in Atlanta too?
Yeah, but if you're on 'E' and there's no other option in sight, you're gonna buy gasPandora said:It did in a couple of places. I dont't think there should be fines tho. I just wouldnt buy gas there, loss of business is punishment enough for them.

You have to achieve the best gph, not necessarily the best mpgThorn Bird said:yeah, about half a gallon so i can make it to the next decent station.
i wonder if many will slow down on the road to keep gas longer?

With tire chains and that low center of gravity, it'd be unstoppable.smileynev said:How would it handle the ice and snow. Could I get a cattle bar?
I'ma gonna need people to help keep the riff-raff outkiwi said:I'm so glad we have an open invite to the Chikken Ranch in case of an emergency.
