Xbox and PS4 are getting ready for a new generation. I'd go Switch. Two player is built into virtually every game, there are more youth friendly games, and its portable.

I can only speak for myself, but I have *tons* of people to high five now that we've moved to console. Back when we played PC, @APRIL and I played alone. I prefer fellowship over 60FPS any day.

How on earth do you play alone on PC in the US? I can find pop for almost any game here in Australia.

Switch is good but nintendo games hold their prices for longer. They have more kid friendly games and family games. Also Joe makes switch games so do that
PS4 is kinda rad too.

I know, I just love poking fun at consoles.

Though this crossplay in FPS games these days is aids because consoles have default aimbot.

So far I think the only major FPS/TPS titles that have crossplay are Fortnite and COD: Warzone.

They allow aim assist for consoles to make up for the fact that controllers can't compete against mouse and keyboard when aiming. Unfortunately it's OP af.
