Friggin Cat

Today Dan and I were sitting in the kitchen when two of our cats got into a very small 2 second spat. The next thing I noticed was a pool of blood forming quickly under one of them. I swept her up and was in my car on the way to the vet in no time. She was bleeding a lot and we couldn't even really tell where it was coming from. She's really fluffy. In fact her name is Fluffy. So, the vet took care of her. Just a punctured artery or vein. It was terrifying though. I hate it when pets get hurt.

I shit you not... it was like a scene form a samurai movie.

[two tense cats sit meters apart, one in obvious agitation, one in complete calm]

[calm cat] *raises paw*

[agitated cat] *snarls and skids on kitchen floor*

[calm cat] *sits*

[agitated cat] *regains balance and forms hunched, defensive posture*

[calm cat] *sits*

[agitated cate] *blood pools on floor near feet*

I'm considering renaming "calm cat" to Yojimbo or The Cat With No Name... strictly for badassedness.

She shouldn't be. She's a total bitch, but still I don't want her to bleed to death. She can be nice when she wants.
