WTF would I want to go that fast in/on something attached to the ground for? Hell .. NO. That is a HUGE accident waiting to happen imo.

somehow it seems more safe to be attached to the ground than hurtling through the air, but maybe that's just me. i just like the idea that if it breaks down you can get out without special equipment.
