i personally can only look at screens for so many hours a day.. so I can't imagine reading a book on one.

It's not a "screen". It's e-paper. It looks just like a book. Hard to explain.

i'm the same way...i would like a book or two on my phone for when i get stuck without a book, but i will wait for a book from the library before reading a screen if i have the choice.

i'm dying about this music thing, though. i can't believe i can't put my music on my phone. :mad: i'm not about to go pay for all my music all over again. :barf:

Why can't you put your music on your phone?
 
Check out the app Bargain Bin for free apps. As for music, if you bought them through iTunes to begin with, you should be able to transfer them to your phone. Even mp3's garnered from other means can be put on an iPhone. iTunes will even rip CDs into "mp3" for the iPhone for you.
