So when it does grow, does it go back down?

It might take a long time for that. Last QTR was the first time since WWII ended that FL actually had more people leaving the state than moving to the state.

The lady renting my condo did that for awhile and the last time she got pulled over they gave her a ticket. Apparently they keep notes on her record about the tags and the final time they gave her the ticket and said she can go to court with documents proving she's in school or pay the fine and get the FL license. They also said if she got pulled over again with the TX stuff she would be going to jail.

Those darn Texans.

I don't understand this whole concept. You have to pay for a new license every year?? The license I got last year is valid til 2018.

Not every year, but it's a great way for the states to pull in some extra spending money.

You have to register your vehicle every year (Ohio has now offered 2 years for about 4 years now). For that you get a sticker for your license plate. For your driver's license, those last 4-6 years on average.

license is good for 8 yrs, tags 1 or 2 years. florida just started offering the 2 yr option.
