For those Miami fans

You would drain yourself dry if it was OSU putting together the drive

The problem isn't the Dolphins organizing it. The problem is that the 1st 1000 people get the tickets. So when someone calls to schedule the appointment, if they're not one of the 1000 people, they're less inclined to donate. Unless they actually schedule for one of the later slots.

And OSU does this every year, except they don't give away tickets. It's an annual competition between OSU and Michigan to donate more blood.

Which brings about another question. If a girl signs up to donate and she's #100 on the list, and her iron is too low, does she still get the tickets?

Pick 2 of the 5

HIV, AIDS
You should not give blood if you have AIDS or have ever had a positive HIV test, or if you have done something that puts you at risk for becoming infected with HIV.
You are at risk for getting infected if you:

have ever used needles to take drugs, steroids, or anything not prescribed by your doctor
are a male who has had sexual contact with another male, even once, since 1977
have ever taken money, drugs or other payment for sex since 1977
have had sexual contact in the past 12 months with anyone described above
