I remember how in awe I was when I visited Kennedy Space Center as a kid.

That's how I feel over what we are learning about the Universe. Have you been watching Morgan Freeman's "Through The Wormhole"? Fucking brilliant! Must see.

When you see the first spacecraft and realize that people squeezed themselves into those super tiny fragile things on top of what was barely more than huge super explosive missiles you realize what balls those people had.

That was what amazed me the most. The Rocket Garden has all the manned rockets with the exception of the Saturn 5. When I saw the launch platforms for the mercury craft, and then the Capsule, I was surprised. I had no idea they were so small.

The Gemini 2 seater, when i read how 2 astronauts spent a week in that orbiting the earth, no way in hell I can see how they did it.

Even the Apollo is a small ass can. However, the Saturn 5 launch vehicle is immense and impressive.

The Shuttle they have on the grounds does a good job of reminding you that the insides they show you in the movies are about 3x bigger than the actual interior of the shuttle itself.

No but I love that type of stuff. I'll have to look it up. I like a lot of Neil DeGrasse Tyson's stuff too. What an intelligent guy. Carl Sagan too.

Yeah, Through the Wormhole is pretty good. It's the updated version of Carl Sagan's old series. Not bad at all.

Not that I know about.

I'd imagine everyone saw it on the big screen at the stadium, which should of resulted in her needing an escort back to her vehicle. Wouldn't have been surprised if security didn't come take the ball off her.

The different theories regarding the edge of the universe are extremely interesting!
