It really is more of a city than a boat. Our boat had: mini golf, inline skating track, rock climbing wall, ice rink, 800 seat theatre, 50 seat screening room (to watch movies), ~6 pools, ~8 hot tubs, 3 level dining room, and a huge buffet. Oh and a floating hotel room that allows you to stop at new islands every day. It rocks.
There is also liquor and a casino, but none of us gives a shit about that...

I'll positive rep you for it. I also found it funny.
I +ed for that post
And with less tidal waves, sharks, and giant squid.

Hence the words, "It really is more of a city than a boat." However, a city doesn't drive you around the Carribean to other even cooler cities. Got my first taste of scuba in St Thomas.
Sounds like a whole lot of rooms for someone to get trapped and drown in to me.
I just watched Poseidon last week and saw what happened to all of those dumb bastards. I'm not going out like that.
cruise = :admin:
The wife and I have cruised multiple times in the past few years and have had a great time every time.
If you're that worried about drowning, get a room with a personal balcony, that way if the ship starts going down, you can jump off of your own deck and swim away from the ship until a lifeboat picks you up.
I highly recommend cruises as a relatively cheap way to vacation (cheap as compared to what 2 adults would spend at a nice hotel and eating comparable food at a nice restaurant) plus you get to travel and see islands you wouldn't normally see.
Yeah, a balcony is the only way to fly.
