Ontopic Flight 370

They're dropping buoys now and attempting to triangulate.

The buoys have long cabled hydrophones on them, which sit well below thermal gradients and pinpoint stuff better. Here's hoping that everything gets deployed and they get a good position fix before the pinger on the black box fails.

A really good idea on a planet mostly covered with deep oceans is to outfit jets with equipment that only pings for two weeks.

Good Gravy the former Prime Minister of Malaysia is now blaming Boeing for what happened to Flight 370.
