Getting my dad a pair of 62mm Ray Ban classic Aviators with Gilt Gold trim and gunmetal Bausch & Lomb lenses. Not for something as fake as fathers day though, it's for his birthday.

That should gay him up quite nicely.

He had a pair years ago, and drives alot. The shape of the aviators can't be beaten for driving as it covers the whole eye. The lenses are amazing too, not like you're wearing sunglasses at all.

The classics are about a million times better than the shit they're making nowadays, with green lenses and bling gold trim etc.

I've only heard BAD things about the little FM transmitters though, so I'm not considering that.

The secret to successfully using FM transmitters to broadcast MP3/CD player music... Live in an area with no radio stations.

Seriously though, you drive around between Baltimore and DC and it's tough finding a free nook on the FM band. Signal bleeding is the worse thing you have to put up with using one of the Transmitters. So if you have a fairly good block of dead air in the 89-92 range in your area, go ahead and try one out. (alternatively you can get a fancy one that doesn't limit you to one set of numbers, flexibility in this case is a great thing)

It's powered from the car ac adapter so it may have a bit more volume than the one's powered soley by the iPod itself. That was the major complaint about the fm transmitters, low volume.

My boyfriend has this and he swears by it, just don't buy the belkin version.
