It benefits the buyer. And they expect you to have the money for shipping before you put the item on for bid. It's so you don't collect the buyers money and then take off without delivery of said item.

Everythinig to do with ebay and paypal benefits the buyer. And no they don't. It's not in the terms and conditions that you have shipping money yourself, the buyer is paying for shipping and therefore it should be perfectly acceptable that you use the money they pay for postage on postage. Once they pay you can print out postage labels on paypal so you can prove you're spending just as much as they gave you and not making money off postage. It makes more sense that way.

I've used ebay for years and my rating is just 168 with no neg feedback but I rarely sell anything on there. The shipping aspect makes me not want to sell stuff.
