Mike...here is something that I've considered for myself, but until things change in my situation it will have to wait, but...have you considered working Dude Ranches? They are always looking for good hands. Just do a google search on it, you will be surprised what you might find.

I considered it. I met a friend in England that did that in Australia. He basicaly worked on a ranch 4 hours from the nearest town for 6 months straight. Sounded like fun.

You don't work steadily and you travel about doing stuff. Like a lot of fictional characters.

It's fun, but I would much prefer to be one of those fictional characters living on mommy and daddies trust fund. Then I could just travel sans working.
