He will start to destroy things when you leave, crap on the floor, howl when you walk out the door, chew his paws... After 11 years of Bandit being relativley normal, he developed seperation anxiety. We had to start puttinghim in a crate, and he would actually escape it, and then destroy the house. The Xanex helped, but getting Willy, our Hurricanie Katrina rescue dog, has completely stopped all the bad behavior in Bandit and he no longer has the crate. We have another dog too, but I think he must have ignored Bandit all day.
