She's actually a model, gained 20lbs for the series didnt gain it back for the movie.

Watching the extras gives you scary amounts of info.

Apparently Joss wanted her to be more 'womanly' because the character is kinda the ships mother. I think it was a good call. In the movie she just comes across as a teenage horndog that wants to get laid. Real women have curves dammit!

I watched Sin City friday night w\ jessica alba. Interesting movie - you can definately see QT's style. I LOVE movies with twists - guess the yellow blood made the gore easier to watch too.

Still haven't picked up the DVD series of Firefly. I want to see it so bad.
