Fly believes its a bar trick. That the chick ties it first then has a second in hand to switch it out with.

I've done it before... as long as the stem is fairly long it isn't impossible.

nope. my dad can do it most every time he's tried. he's been doing it since i was a kid, and he'll keep his hands behind his back and show you the stem with his teeth. he looks pretty funny doing it.
