I'd never seen any of those bands later on in life. I made one mistake of doing that with Jimmy Page Robert Plant tour in '95 (?)

Anyway, it was just watching two old dudes on stage. When you've seen the original and remember it as vividly as the weird bulges in Robert Plant's pants, the old versions don't compare.
77, probably the Animals tour. I'm extremely jealous! Although I would have been 4 years old at the time and wouldn't have remembered it lol!
I saw the Page and Plant tour too. I remember they opened with Bring it on Home which was awesome but after that with the exception of Kashmir the rest of the show was kinda meh. I remember they played Spiderman by The Cure for some reason. It didn't work.
Led Zeppelin was the same year.
