Computer question (SATA)

We just purchased a drive for a client and it came with one of these cables.

Now what I can't tell is if you have an SATA power connector, how the hell do you get power into the drive with this type of connection.

edit: it doesn't look like it's covered by the secure connect....

I know, but why even include an SATA power connector if you're going to encourage this type of connection. And why put pinouts on the inside of the cable for the power connector?

That's what I'm talking about, tinkle lips. In the little pic at the bottom right of that pdf there is the SATA...and on the far right there is the legacy receptacle, which isn't covered by the SATA. Are you saying yours is covered?
