Will it quit it with the 'Star Trek is communism' bullshit please? Just because that form of society happens to completely rock and make logical sense doesn't mean you have to get all cold war on it.

So tell me why it 'completely rocks'

It rocks because it forces people to divest their wealth to the property leaders who then live in (capitalist) luxury while the lay man lives in poverty.

I never claimed communism rocked. I claimed you go all cold war on anything that isn't capitalist and the American status quo. You then brand it communist so everybody will think it's wrong because you've been brainwashed to think certain words are 'dirty'. The current dirty word is 'socialism', which you like to attribute to any country that does anything that America doesn't agree with in the Western world (whilst doing worse things anyway but hey ho).

i drank some communist rum last night. it tasted like proletariat tears. delicious.

Are you aware of what rhetoric is? What I say isn't how I think, it's for effect, theatrics.

It's no different to 2012. So...what was eastern europe like when you were 4?

I was 8. It was okay. At that age I didn't grasp the nuances of communism. It was weird when our bus got stopped and soldiers with assault rifles came on board asking for papers. But then they left and I went back to not caring. Life isn't as dark in childhood.

The Dispossessed is good view of anarchist-communist society. Ursula LeGuin. Little feminist for my taste sometimes.

Soldiers with guns come on at most countries borders, not just communist ones. The French police are a bit scary, come on trains with german shepherds and rifles and shit. Like anyone wants to emigrate to a shithole like France anyways.

This was in the middle of Prague, not at the border.
