I'm thinking a lot of them will be able to fake it at some level. They'll look for jobs that require X degree but they don't really have to put much of what it would entail to use. Sure, that won't work for most science disciplines, but could be carried off in many liberal arts fields. Plus, if they have already faked their way into a job and held it for 5+ years chances are good nobody will ever check if they actually got a degree, if/when they look for another job.
You’re splitting hairs. All kinds of payoffs and shenanigans have gone on for years, and the bribes go both ways. I remember when a HS classmate showed up driving a brand new Duster after talking with UN scouts.
I agree with you that it’s horrible, but I don’t understand why so many are rabid for burning the parents alive. Where is all the outrage toward the recipients of bribes?
