That is correct. The ball touching the ground in that play had NOTHING to do with it being called an incomplete pass. It was ruled an incomplete pass because the ref thought it was bobbled. However, I didn't see any of that in the replay. Jesus Christ.

UNLESS

THE

GROUND

CAUSED

THE

BALL

TO

MOVE.

At 31 seconds, you clearly see the nose of the ball being pushed modifying the angle as the ball is on the ground. That clearly means the player did not maintain full posession as the ball was on the ground. That means bobbled in the technical sense. That means incomplete pass.

What happens right after a touchdown is scored? It doesn't just stop at 6...

Sometimes it goes to seven. Very rarely does it go to eight. And it never goes to nine.

They didn't need the extra point though, they were going to do an onsides kick and win it right there, correct? Totally robbed.

It was Mike McQueary, the Wide Recievers coach and Recruiting coordinator for Penn State.

Okay, so it looks like there was more people than McQueary who saw it. It was a Janitor, AND a grad student as well.

Turns out mcqueary was a grad assistant at the time.

I think you're trying to argue something I never said. You should go back and reread all this stuff.

video even says "possibly game tying TD.... if you know, they got a 2 point conversion. then they could've won it with an onsides kick or in overtime. totally robbed."

besides, they couldn't get it in the end zone in 4 tries, what makes you think they'd get it in twice in a row?

Our clocks must be different.

Deflection is a sign of unwillingness to admit what's actually there. The ball moved due to the ground. It was an incomplete pass. If you watch seconds 31-34 at 720p and full screen, you can clearly see it.

The ref was right. Michigan didn't get robbed there. Now the passing interference call that supposedly happened after that, I've only seen a picture of it, but the Hawkeye defender WAS draped all over the Michigan receiver.

The part that really sucks is there will be a shit ton of law suits and Pennsylvania will be on the hook to pay since it's a state school.

It's odd the way they fired him. An envelope was delivered to his house that had a note in it saying to call this specific phone number. When he called the voice on the other side just said your services are no longer needed. Then they went out and did the press conference.

Its called intimidation of facing a legend face to face.

Pretty much how they dumped Bowden. At least in this case people responsible for the decision made the announcement. For Bobby Bowden, they sent out the team captains while the University President and the AD hid from the press.
