Game of the week

8:00PM ET #11 Oregon @ Arizona

Quarterbacks - Masoli didn't have a spectacular showing last week in terms of stats, but didn't really have to. In the loss to Stanford, he showed he can throw up the numbers if needed. Not only is he able to beat teams in the air, but has the ability to do so on the ground as well. Foles on the other hand is strictly a pocket passer putting up moderate numbers.

Oregon's RBs vs Arizona's Front 7 - James is a huge threat and will probably be heavily utilized against Arizona. While he is their go to rusher, they do have some depth in Barner and Crenshaw. Masoli himself is also a threat to run being the 2nd leading rusher on the team. Arizona, while a top20 defense against the run, hasn't faired well against top rushing teams.

Arizona's RBs vs Oregon's Front 7 - Arizona is a perfectly balanced offense having 323 rushing plays and 323 rushing attempts. Oregon will need to be careful as these guys get some major yardage after the first contact. Both Grigsby and Nwoko have taken it 45+ yards on a rush, and they love to spread the carries around. With 5 RBs with a long rush of 25+ yards, Oregon will have to make sure they tackle surely. This will more than likely be the difference maker in the game. Unfortunately for Oregon, half the NCAA is better at stopping the run than they are.

Oregon's Passing attack vs Arizona's defense - This is pretty much a non issue. Masoli, as stated, has the ability to throw, but this is a run heavy team. Arizona holds teams to around the same average that Oregon passes per game. However they play fairly agressive placing in the top 15 in sacks.

Arizona's passing attack vs Oregon's defense - There's a 70 yard difference in Arizona's favor in terms of YPG through the air and YPG allowed by Oregon. Oregon also plays aggressive and is 23rd in sacks. Look for Arizona to establish that run to open up the air attack.

Outlook - As stated earlier, this game hinges on Arizona's rushing attack. If they continue to break big rushes out and force Oregon to put more in the box, expect the receivers to start getting some yardage as the game progresses. Arizona is going to have to force Masoli to beat them with his arm. While he is capable of doing so, it's not the methodoligy they'd prefer. Arizona needs the agression, and Oregon will need to stay on target and disciplined. Coqui's pick: Oregon wins this by pulling away in the 2nd half.

Ya I'm tired of The Gators. They have become annoying, I shared this with someone today and they agreed.

If Tebow would simply act bad for one day I may enjoy the Gators more. Maybe hit a strip club, kill a midget hooker, eat some hash then roll naked in the sand screaming John 3:16 is a sham!!!!!

Then I'll be a Gator fan.
