Coin Flip

Do you not understand how betting works?

in a one on one bet in an example like a coin toss, yes you would no doubt double what you put in.... the pot is equal to what you and the other person put in which is the same as twice what you put in.
now in a situation where many people are involved in the same bet, the winnings get skewed in proportion to the total pot and how much they bet. so if i make up a quarter of the input on my side i will get a quarter of the whole pot... which is the total amount bet
thats why betting on the more popular side nets you less profit than if you bet on the less popular side.
in this thread's example, based on the result, marklar will be either created or destroyed based on the results... since you won't be returning the pot but simply twice of what the winners put in.

I learned that strategy playing blackjack in Louisiana from a drunk chick whose husband cheated on her. Fun times.
