Logically, newton's law of cooling states the rate of change of the temperature of an object is proportional to the difference between its initial temperature and the ambient temperature. Also the volume of the 'coffee' is increased after you add the cream. The color of the liquid is negligible (in classical physics anyway, and I dont know any other kind).
