Very beautiful area ... how lucky you two are to have visited. What was the occasion - just a vacation or a honeymoon or something?

Are there ALOT of tourists all the time? Some of the pics showed alot of people in them, sitting on steps and such.

July/August is crazy busy in Rome. We went the first 2 weeks of September, so it was dying down. There's always a lot of tourists and locals hanging around the sights, like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Coliseum. When we went down south to Sorrento and Capri, there weren't as many tourists. It was just a fun trip for us, we wanted to see Europe before having kids, as it would be a lot harder then. We also visited some of my wife's distant family there (her grandmother's cousins). Fun times.

my contribution.....

found a few pics from our little trip to Sunriver in eastern Oregon as well as a few my budding camera junkie daughter took around the house.

Goof! The place was full of 'em- apparently semi-fossilized leftovers from when the littel caldera blew up a thousand or so years ago. I thought they were pretty neat lookin'.
