The maximum PSI and GPM you can push through a 3/4 inch copper pipe and 1 inch Polyethylen pipe? GPM = Gallons per minute. Thanks a bunch.

I've been pretty much living at irrgationtutorials the past week and a half. For some reason I found that chart once and couldn't find it again. So, what happens if I run 18 GPM through 3/4 inch copper?
I'd consider it slightly risky in the winter

In the winter it will be off. Grass doesn't grow well under the snow, so I choose not to water then.

Water Hammer will damage your pipe!

Thats my fear. But the entire inside of my house is 3/4 inch copper, from the well inlet on up. To put anything bigger in would be a major undertaking.
