Building a new Computah

Went ahead and ordered the Asus P5Q and the E8400...


If anyone has video card suggestions I will be picking that up in the next couple days. Thanks again for all the help peoples!!!!

Good choice.

Video card, decide whether you want ATI or Nvidia. Much like the Intel/AMD preference.

My preference is Nvidia. Solid products and pretty good drivers.

MIR, to bring it down to your price range. 9800gtx+ is still a solid card.

after MIR, it is close to your price range. Card is supposedly faster than the 9800gtx, with more memory.

Thanks for the help Hawkers!!!!

I think I will buy everything that I need today except the video card. It was ~300 for the mobo and cpu and then another ~400 for the case, memory, psu and hdd. 700 is really my limit for the week so Ill pick up the video card in a week or so... ill have time to do some more shopping for that end
