WTF Boys Disciplined By School For Playing Airsoft In Own Yard

I think I get where you're missing it. The school has a separate, non parental, responsibility for the kid. That doesn't mean the parent doesn't want that responsibility, it means that they responsibly have expectations when they entrust their child to the school system.

kids actively shooting at other kids boarding school buses, on bus stop property, and shooting at school property (the bus?) and school employees (the driver?). Since we live in a no-accountability society these days... normally that would fall to the parents, but thats clearly not gonna happen, so what then, the police? Better to get kids expelled, than arrested.
