Bomb Alert? Only in Northern Ireland!

It's not stolen, they just have a right to search if they want. Haven't done it in a long time though. Good fucking riddance.

The IRA (or in this case it's associated splinter groups) makes Muslim terists look like a bunch of bumbling, jabbering morons.

Seeing as how they essentially are a bunch of jabbering morons...
You have to remember that at a time when noone would defend us against the police and other terrorist groups, only the IRA would. You'll be hard pressed to find a catholic that will say the IRA are disgusting. Some may not agree with their actions, but they are thankful for what they did. Otherwise, we'd still be trampled over.

Any organization which can go toe-to-toe with the SAS for 30 years, fight it to stand still (with very little civilian life lost), and then when a cease-fire is called for they (for the most part) stick to it deserves respect IMO.

Aye. I realised how you could read that after KNYTE quoted me. It was meant in terms of military effectivity, not their veiws.

The SAS killed alot of innocents too. About 300 meters up the road they shot three guys going to work just because they were in their 20's. They rarely got the right people.

The PIRA (Provo's) have stuck to their ceasefire, though you'll alway get people who disagree, forming their own splinter groups.

No military force could ever claim that there were NO civilian casulties, not even one as specialized as the regiment. I was more trying to convey that it was never a goal, belief, or intention of the IRA to kill or punish innocents in order to achieve their goal (except for some of the previously mentioned hardcore groups).

The Individual Retirement Account (IRA) brings together two tremendously powerful forces, both of which benefit you: 1) compound interest, and 2) tax savings.

If you've got money that you can afford to invest for the long term, there's really no reason not to open an IRA. Lethargy is not a good reason. Inertia is not a good reason. Keeping your eyes wide shut about your future is not a good reason. Compound interest becomes even more powerful when it is not held back by the drag coefficient of taxes.

In those golden years, you want to be able to go out and buy the gold-plated golf clubs, jet out to Hawaii to circle the big island on a dolphin's back, savor the flavor of fine French food, make generous contributions to a cause that stirs your passions, or hire a trainer to help you get in shape for your Space Shuttle mission. You also want the opportunity to become your family's Most Beloved Ancestor -- the more you save, and the more you have at the end of the day, the more you're likely to have left over to spread around to your heirs. So you're really doing everyone a favor -- yourself included.

He LOVES reading and learning about all that type of stuff. He was pretty much born to be in a military position of some sort, but wouldn't want to deal with being a peon and working up to a leader.

The leader of the IRA is known only as "Roth"

Sounds great :D
I doubt you'd be happy with him being away all the time too. That would suck.
