Are you wanting making fuck berserker?
I've been on hold all damned day. First with M$ support to get my 360 repaired (which kills me because I had this rainy, POS Tuesday slated for some NCAA football) and now with Dell trying to get my SD port fixed under warranty. I emailed them back in October (2 months prior to my warranty expiring) regarding both a battery issue and the SD issue (which they neglected to address in their response). Now I have to see if they'll honor it since it was brought up prior to the expiration - hopefully they saved the email records since my old work email server is no longer in existence. If only someone would pick up the phone and save me from this porno jazz...

You guys think those first version Xbox 360's that you have will experience a lot of problems like version 1 playstations? I still have to flip my ps1 upside down to use it.

I didnt get mine at launch, I got it this past spring. Havent had any real issues with it other than it locking up twice on me last night. Maybe the machine just was in a bad mood.

Mine has frozen a couple times in midgame, but this is the first time it's actually failed to power up at all. The 1, 3 and 4 lights were flashing red with no reaction from the video or audio. I researched it myself before calling and found it to be a hardware failure, specifically a 0020 error code, for which there is no generic explanation. We can rule out overheating since it only gets 2 or so hours per week on it other than playing DVDs. They're sending me a prepaid box in which to send it off.

The guy on the phone told me not to affix any M$ or Xbox stickers to the box as to now draw attention...uh...yeah...because I have a fucking roll of Xbox stickers burning a hole in my pocket.

Do 360s have overheating issues?

Depends on who you listen to , I guess.
Mine sits on my desk with nothing really around it, so it gets plenty of airflow, and when its running, it puts out about as much heat as your average PC. Some people claim the glow from their overheated CPUs keep them awake at night like some kind of hellish night light, but they may be exaggerating a bit.

Do 360s have overheating issues?

Not really if they are cooled correctly. The problem is that most people dont. You dont want it on the floor, and you dont want anything over it. If its vertical you really dont want anything too close on the side and above as well. You also need to avoid certain coolers such as that one that piggybacks off the xbox's power supply. Most people who had it killed their 360s within six months.

my roommate picked up a 360 this weekend in lieu of us not being able to find a wii...haven't been home to play it yet though
