Who is going to be the new boogieman?

Nice touch them "doing" it in Afghanistan so now they have some validation for being there.

Of course now they can say that the terrorist are going to try to get revenge so we need a Super Patriot Act.

We may make that end of the world date that comes up this month.

Although it does look like a good party in DC, I'm not sure how I feel about watching a bunch of people celebrating someone's death. I get that they think he's responsible for thousands of deaths, but I'm not a big fan of an eye for an eye behavior. I guess I'm in the minority. Someone told me I should move to a different country if I don't want to be patriotic, but I can't think of anywhere to go where people are actually nice and don't play God and aren't greedy and power hungry. Maybe I should leave the planet? It's not like I'd go out of my way to protect the man, but I don't really spend any time wishing anyone dead or being happy about it. I'm sure his mom is sad tonight and I bet his kids are too. And don't we have to worry about his angry children now? It's never going to end. Hate breeds hate.

wait, they "think" he's responsible for thousands of deaths? there's really no question

and no one should be told to leave for not being patriotic, especially since recognizing the faults and mistakes of one's country can actually serve to help it rather than blind nationalism which only results in more problems

side note, neil degrasse tyson always chimes in with the right perspective imho

"Two American goals that took a decade, and more than $100 billion to achieve: 1) Walk on the Moon 2) Find Bin Laden"

I agree... hate does breed hate, but how are people who were affected by bin Laden's actions going to feel justice or closure?
