Well yeah my dad taught me to read big novels by the age of like 10 or 11 and I can sit with a book for a few hours now but anywhere but home I have no patience with anything.

That at least proves that you can have an attention span of more than 5 minutes when something is interesting

i have the attention span for about 15 mins, anything longer and i'm either asleep or staring around the room, i agree that ADHD is on the up, i have a friend and sister who have recently began in the health service (UK) and both are dealing with ADHD sufferers on a regular basis..This is begining to suck...

I went into my local buddhist centre today and the people there were really nice so I'm going to some beginners course tomorrow.

Sweet! I'd love to take a class on it. Buddism seems like such an elegant theology, but the book I'm reading makes such a mess of it.
