Differences between 1.6 and Source (besides the worthy graphics)
Flashbangs actually blind you and deafen you like real ones.
Shotgun is highly effective now.
They got rid of the riot shield
You can now kill with one shot with the scout (assuming you hit in the head)
Nade blasts temporarily deafen you
Knife stabs can kill in one stab if you get them from behind.
They've redone what can shoot through walls, etc. much better.
Hitboxes still need to be tweaked though.
If they made it more accurate, than that is closer to reality.Coqui said:
And the PARA is way too accurate now. So much for cover fire.

When I fired an M-249 it barely recoiled and was amazingly accurate at 100 yards. I cut the A-pillar of an 80's Cadillac in half with it
I was disappointed in the CS version
I fired it from the shoulder, and from it's bipod.Coqui said:Well then I guess they made it more realistic then. Now when you fired it, were you carrying it or was it mounted on a tripod?
Also I love nading a hallway and seeing 5 dead people fly out of it from the nade now
The ragdoll physics are amazing.

Tripods remove pretty much all recoil from the user, a bipod merely aids with steadying from a prone position.
It's a heavy rifle, so the already minimal recoil of the .223 cartridge was even further reduced.
I sucked at that game, but I think I was best with the M4 or the silenced .45 pistolCoqui said:I might have to try it then next time I play.
I'm a SWAT teams dream though as I am probably the deadliest with an MP5 or a sniper rifle.
With the MP5, I'm pretty much a god
