The outback here sucks too, as does Logan's. If I am going for a chain restaurant steak...the Longhorn seems to always do a pretty good job.

I used to know the daughter of the founder of the longhorn chain...he got great weed and had an awesome party house

The Outback's and Bugaboo's around here are usually decent, never any fat and maybe a vein or something running through 30% of the time.

Some of the staff even seem to understand Rare-plus

Outback is not in the same category as those shitholes. Applebees, Chilis, Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, etc - fuck you all.

Not a chain, but the steak house we went to with Fly and April when we were there was awesome.

besides morton's, ruth's chris, the palm, and one or two others, chain steakhouses usually suck if you want the top notch stuff

Charlie's and Shulas is really good. If you want steak in Tampa Berns is by far the best.

And even then, it can vary by region.

The two Ruth's Chris' I've been to have been lousy for the price, the Palm in Boston sucks (The NYC one is fine) and I've had one bad experience in Morton's.

Usually if I want to OD on steak and such I just go to a nice Brazilian Steak House and eat till I puke.

Are you kidding me? Outback has good salads and burgers. Oh, and appetizers. BTW, Berns is good, but not THAT good, you're paying for atmosphere.
