Got the neighbors' kid today with a dad joke.

kid: "I'm anti-social too!"
me: "Aren't you uncle social?"
kid/parents: groan

I guess Canadians so an-tea social. Took me a minute.

Picture this: a pandemic is unleashed by the ticks that live on and around the mouths of alpacas.

Global chaos ensues.

The disease wipes us out, and the survivors are forced to live in a post-alpaca lip tick wasteland.
So apparently true story: researchers are studying antibodies in llamas with a protein that could bind to the coronavirus.

You just know that if that pans out as a treatment, there will be immediately be cheap knockoffs, so maybe those manufacturers will use alpacas if they can't afford llamas, or they'll harvest more abundant fats instead of proteins.

Or maybe both when everybody demands, "alpaca lipids now".
