So I finished up a week long hiking trip through Yosemite. We backpacked the entire time averaging around 15 miles a day. We had a few that was less due to basically climbing straight up. It was a great time just walking in with my gear and a weeks worth of food in my pack. We had bears in our camp every night and wolves one morning. We started in the lower Valley around 2000ft elevation and maxed out around 9500ft. We finished by hiking into the Sequoia Grove on the far end of the Valley. That was the first area we actually saw any people. It was only around 50F during the late afternoon and would get down around 20F at night. It was definitely a worthwhile trip. Here are a few of my pics. I didn't take as many as I would have liked but it was difficult with all my gear on. 99% of the pics I did take were during a rest period.
