we have a bunch of pc's here with shady power supplys. if you unplug them while still on, they do exactly the same thing. Unless you use the power button to shut them down, they stay stuck in not being able to boot.

That's the one thing I know its not. The PS is a PC Power and Cooling. If that thing goes dead, I'd fall over.

its not that they are dead, its just that they get stuck in some kind of loop unless you power down with the button.

you aren't perhaps using Kentron RAM are you?

I hear they have a new twist and perhaps that is what's fucking your system up
