Baby Autistic kids don't go through synaptic pruning

Maybe something like Sympathy Seeker. Someone who comes up with shit so people are always having to say "Oh I'm so sorry for you".

I have a family member who has had like 5 or 6 back surgeries among a number of other surgeries and she keeps going back for more. I think she's doing it so people feel sorry for her. This sounds an awful lot like your friend trying to get attention by saying something it wrong with her kid. :iono:

Some of these are borderline Munchausen by proxy IMO. They are nutters!

I don't even know why they took their daughter in for testing. She loved touching things and got deep in thought a lot to the point they had to call her name twice or something. That was it. They went to totally different states for doctors who gave them a diet to follow and all that shit. There was nothing wrong with her though. Nothing! Crazy ass people and not really friends with them anymore. I swear their religious beliefs made them do abnormal things.

Totally disagree. I think parents who do that to their kids are lazy mother fuckers who want an excuse not to parent their child. They want all the excuses in the world why their little Jr. is a PITA and throwing tantrums when in reality they just suck as parents.

In the one case above I think it was just pure nuttiness. They had an ideal person and if someone is outside just a little they must be "broken" not realizing that some kids are very tactile and some really get deep into thought. If there are no behavioral issues maybe it's just a little different than that "ideal" your church people are spewing.

I somewhat agree.
I feel that her parenting is so outrageous that she really looks for excuses for the way acts.

Like he refuses to eat vegetables so she blames that on his autism.... No you crazy bitch she doesn't eat the vegetables because he's a saucy kid and you're a shitty cook!

I know many autistic children that love vegetables

But, they said he's not typical Asp, because he's very empathetic & loving, but also that he's seemingly eager to gain help/control over his struggles. Most Asps are almost full on anger. The school & I will be doing an IEP for him.
