Great, now they are gonna try to pass legislation against walking and using your cell phone. It could be dangerous to stupid people, and god forbid we have a few less stupid people in this world.

right, but there are several words out there that don't have pictures to represent them.

like right, but, there, are, that, represent, them.

Which is why I said the words would be associated with the idea in the same way that a picture can be associated with an idea, and in exactly the same way that the sounds of speech are associated with ideas.

Though I can't imagine that a deaf person would be any good at charades or solving rebuses.
