You need the sodium and pottasium in the gatorade. The Sugar, not as much.

yeah, but this isn't perfect lab world where everyone has exacting diet standards and is properly hydrated to begin with. in the real world, if you drink more water it makes you lose weight. whether that's because you're replacing coke as a thirst quencher, or no longer mistaking being thirsty for being hungry doesn't matter. the result is as originally stated: if you drink a lot of water, you lose weight.I'm not. The idea that more water will automatically makes you lose weight is an old wives tale. More water will only help you lose weight if you're chronically dehydrated, in which case it flushes salt from your system and rebalances your body's water weight load or if you take on increased metabolic activity. If you just sit around and drink more water that your body doesn't need, you're only flushing your kidneys for no good reason.
I have a sister who's been getting great results with weight watchers as well.
I keep gaining and losing about 25 pounds every year, but hopefully, I've got that under control now.

gatorade=sugar
It's not a wive's tale. It's just not as huge a factor as people give it credit.
Drinking water prior to eating will make you feel full faster.
Drinking cold water will cause your body to metabolize more to generate heat. Albeit we're talking about 2 extra calories a day, but it's still there, so technically they're not lying.
Not that much sugar. More than the SBD allows, but really not that much...
Wow, that's really awesome! no wonder you've been so bitchy latelyI'm about to walk down this trail hardcore.. God help me.
So, backstory. July, I decided that enough was enough, and just quit smoking. No patch, no gum, no meds, no nothing. July 2nd was the day. I haven't had one since. I was a pack a day smoker up until then, and I hated myself for it.
Then, the beginning of this month, I tested myself again. I wanted to see if I could quit drinking for 30 days. It's not like I have an alcohol problem, I only drank once a week at most, but it was a heavy binge when I did, about $150 worth of alcohol at a crack, and lots of bad decisions made. I also couldn't think of a time when I went 30 days without a drink. Needless to say, I've been out with my friends to a bar 5 times this month, and still haven't had so much as a sip. My willpower lately has been impressing the shit out of me.
With my willpower actually seeming to be in a working state again, I think it's time to take it to the next level.
I'm currently at 232 (as you can pretty much see here below).
We're going to call this the before photo.
I've got until December 31st to drop down 37 lbs. My goal, before the year is out, is to hit 195. Something I haven't seen in like 6 years.
I'm hoping the willpower will keep me kickin.

Yeah, fly and I aren't big on normal sex so you can catch us with a red bull sometimes.
...but we'll get down on one knee for a vegetable or farm animal.
