I don't disagree that it's unbelievably hard. I just think that you can't let go of the anger until you let go of what makes/made you angry.

To not forgive someone doesn't necessarily have to include anger. It can also be a defense mechanism to prevent future bad events.
 
I'm with Amstel. You have to learn to forgive others to set yourself free. Grudges are bad for the immune system, mmmkay?

Not really. I can easily set myself free by just killing the object of my ire instead. No need to forgive if they are forgotten ;)
