Speaking of cheap, as seen on TV knives:

This thing is fantastic. Doesn't look like much, but it's got a good edge and is very comfortable to use for all sorts of precise chopping jobs. It's nice to have around if my usual henkels chef knife is dirty, or even if I just want a change of pace.

I was doubful when I got those ginsu knives as a gift, but this one knife makes up for an entire pallet of crappy serrated-edge chef's knives.
